Welcome to Aquila.mom (the "Platform"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website, mobile applications, and related services.
By creating an account, you explicitly consent to the collection and processing of your data, including sensitive personal data and geolocation, as described in this policy.
One. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide to Us
  • Account Information: Username, email address, password, date of birth, and profile picture.
  • Sensitive Personal Data: You may choose to share information regarding your health, religious or philosophical beliefs, political opinions, ethnic origin, or sexual orientation within your profile fields, posts, or comments. Providing this data is entirely voluntary.
  • Financial Data: If you purchase subscriptions or premium features, our third-party payment processors collect your credit card info, billing address, and transaction details.
  • Pseudonyms and Multi-Account Data: In alignment with our anonymity policy, the username and profile details you provide do not need to reflect your legal identity. When operating multiple accounts, the data from each account is processed securely. We do not cross-link your anonymous accounts publicly, ensuring your digital safety unless direct and binding legal obligations strictly require cooperation with law enforcement.
B. Information Collected Automatically
  • Precise Geolocation Data: With your explicit consent, we collect precise location data (GPS, Wi-Fi, cell tower info) from your mobile device to enable location-based features.
  • Usage and Device Data: IP address, browser type, device model, operating system, unique device identifiers, and data on how you interact with the Platform.
  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience.
Two. How We Use Your Information
We process your information for the following legal and functional purposes:
  • To Provide the Service, manage your account, and facilitate connections.
  • To Personalize Your Experience by using geolocation to show nearby communities or local content.
  • To Process Payments and facilitate premium feature monetization through secure payment gateways.
  • To Protect the Platform from fraud, cyberbullying, stalking, and spam, and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • To comply with international data laws and respond to valid legal requests.
Three. Data Protection and Encryption
We implement rigorous technical and organizational measures to secure your data, particularly your sensitive personal data and geolocation:
  • End-to-End Security: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols.
  • Sensitive Data Isolation: Data regarding health, beliefs, or orientation is stored using enhanced encryption standards (AES-256) and restricted access controls.
  • Anonymization: Where possible, we aggregate or anonymize data for analytical purposes.
Four. Sharing and Disclosure of Information
We do not sell your personal or sensitive data to third parties. We only share your data in the following limited circumstances:
  • With Other Users: Any content, profile information, or geolocation data you choose to make public or share with specific users will be visible according to your privacy settings.
  • Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party vendors (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics) operating strictly under data processing agreements.
  • Legal and Law Enforcement: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or a valid government request.
Five. International Data Rights & Global Compliance
A. For EU/UK Residents (GDPR Compliance)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify, restrict, or object to the processing of your sensitive data or geolocation, as well as the right to erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"). You can withdraw your consent to data processing at any time through your account settings.
B. For US Residents (CCPA/COPPA Compliance)
  • California Privacy Rights (CCPA): California residents have the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt-out of certain data practices. We do not sell your data.
  • Children’s Privacy (COPPA): We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). If we discover a minor has registered without verifiable parental consent, we will delete the account immediately.
Six. Geolocation Data Usage and Personal Safety
  • Purpose of Collection: We process your location data solely to deliver location-based features, such as finding nearby users or local communities.

  • Stalking and Harassment Disclaimer: You acknowledge and agree that you share your location with other users entirely at your own risk. Aquila.mom accepts no liability for any physical, emotional, or material damages resulting from third parties accessing the geolocation data you choose to share publicly or within the app's settings.
  • Minors' Safety: Precise geolocation sharing features may be automatically restricted or disabled by default for user accounts identified as minors under the age of 18.
